Deemed the "eyesore of Enfield Road" for years, the 25-unit condo project nestled in the quaint Old West Austin Neighborhood stalled in 2007 because of legal and financial issues with the developer. It was graffiti-ridden and vandalized, creating daily conversations surrounding "who will take this on and finish it." Rance Clouse saw an opportunity and ran the numbers (then ran them again) to make it one of Enfield's most eye-catching buildings.

904 WEST

Located in the “Original Austin Neighborhood,” 904 West was an unassuming two-story apartment building built in the 1960s to house around 30 of Austin's meager 186,000 residents. Over the years, the building had been maintained but was in need of a major overhaul. Rance Clouse purchased the building in 2009 with a significant opportunity in front of him.

Just two miles from downtown Austin, Towns on Cumberland is located in a quaint residential neighborhood right off of South Congress in the coveted 78704 zip code. Construction began in 2012. With just 13 town-home style condos and limited space, the developer had their work cut out for them.
